Big Decisions
Starting a blog as a mom of five has been both the most challenging and rewarding decision I’ve made this year. After 13 years of friends telling me “you should write about this,” I’m finally taking the plunge into the digital world to share my journey.
Why Start Now?
I guess the better question is why not start now? I have five kids with a twelve year age difference between my oldest and youngest. We are BUSY. We definitely won’t be any less busy any time soon. I came to the realization that if I want to do this, I need to just do it. Writing has always been my escape, my way of processing life’s complexities. So carpe diem.

This blog won’t just be about parenting, though that’s certainly a major part of my life. I’ll be writing about:
The beautiful mess of raising five unique personalities under one roof, finding moments of self-care when everyone needs something, budget-friendly meals that actually satisfy the pickiest eaters, how we manage household logistics without losing our minds, the unexpected wisdom I’ve gained from my children… the list goes on.
The Reality Behind the Screen
Let me be clear—I’m not claiming to have it all figured out. Some days, success means everyone has clean underwear and we didn’t miss any major appointments. Other days, I’m hiding in the pantry eating chocolate while the kids search for me (they always do… their sense of smell for food is truly incredible).
My Promise to You
This space will be honest. Sometimes brutally so. I won’t be curating a perfect life through filters and carefully staged photos. Instead, I’ll offer you authentic stories, practical solutions to everyday challenges, and hopefully a place where other parents can feel seen and supported.
